Wendo began in the kitchen, not the boardroom. Our founder, a restaurant owner, was drowning in the daily chaos of supplier calls, spreadsheets, and mistakes that came from handling too many orders. What started as a personal solution, an easier way to keep products and suppliers under control, quickly proved too valuable to keep to himself. That first version of Wendo transformed his own restaurant operations, and it became clear that every business facing the same struggles needed access to the same clarity.
As demand grew, Wendo joined forces with the technology developers at ZZ Dats, building a partnership that took the idea from a single-restaurant tool to a scalable platform. With their IT development strength, the team expanded rapidly, combining hospitality experience with technical innovation. Today, Wendo empowers restaurants, gyms, and multi-location businesses to take back control of procurement, turning what was once a large problem into a product that saves hours, reduces errors, and keeps teams focused on what matters most.
